Gargoyle model. I did this a test for my modeling skills. I did a sketch of the front and side view of the gargoyle then imported it into the background. Then I modeled the gargoyle point by point. It took me approx 15 hours to do it, and I'm sure that if I wanted to redo it would take me half the time....you know what they say; "Whenever you do it the second time, you do it better and faster." I really enjoyed modeling this guy. It was like my artwork in 3D! Neat experience.
The Pez dispenser. I was applying for a job at Epic Software in Woodlands Texas. They gave me a list of 10 items to model. One of the items on the list was a Pez dispenser, I was so happy about the way that the model turned out I decided to go ahead and include all the little details and render it out. I have the original pez that I used as a reference at home, and it's pretty damned close.
The space ship. A couple of friends of mine and I started to work on a project w/ some compositing work and some intense modeling.....although we got most all of the video shot, the project never got any further than that. I modeled a spaceship and this is the result. Robert Nederhorst textured and gaffered the model. These 2 picts are texture tests.
